FNP student looking for preceptor for Fall 2016 and Spring 2016/2017

Hello all,
My name is Monica Taylor and I am an FNP student at Duquesne University. I am located in Pittsburgh, PA and currently searching for a preceptor(s) for Fall 2016 and Spring 2016/2017, which will be my final two semesters in the program. In fall 2016, I am required to complete 185 hrs, 46 of which may be completed in specialty practice (pediatrics, women's health, retail medicine, any specialty clinic such as a cardiology, endocrinology, etc.). I need to complete the remaining 139 hours in the primary care setting (family practice or internal medicine). For Spring 2016, I need to complete 225 hours, 56 of which may be in specialty practice and the remaining hours in primary care. Preceptors must have been practicing in their setting for at least one year.
I am able to split my hours between multiple preceptors, so please don't be intimidated by the number of hours! I decided to email this list because so far in the program I have only been able to find physician preceptors. While they have been excellent, I really would like the opportunity to work with NPs in order to truly understand my future role. If you think you might be able to help, please feel free to contact me anytime and I can answer any questions you might have and go over details.
A little about myself- I am a pediatric nurse at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh with a background in the NICU and currently working as part of the sedation team. I live in the Greenfield neighborhood of Pittsburgh with my husband and one-year-old daughter. I am excited to become a nurse practitioner, which has always been my dream, and hope to serve the Pittsburgh community after graduating next year.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my email, and I hope you all are having a great weekend!
