Nurse Practitioners of Central Pennsylvania is a local organization affiliated with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Pennsylvania Coalition of Nurse Practitioners. The Academy was founded in 1985 and is the largest and only full service professional organization for nurse practitioners of all specialties. The Coalition is the organization representing nurse practitioners across Pennsylvania. It is made up of members of 16 regional organizations and members-at-large.
