Our Nurse Practitioners provide a high level of holistic care and services for the resident while serving as a clinical expert for the Interdisciplinary team and the family. In addition, you will act a liaison to physicians to ensure all resident and family needs are being met.
Recruitment Requirements:
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program with a Master’s Degree in Nursing
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse
• Certified as a Nurse Practitioner by American Nurses Association
•Formal education in the area of Gerontology; minimum of 2 yrs. working with adult or geriatric population desired.
•Thorough knowledge of advance practice nursing theory, techniques, and practices
• Knowledge of medications, their proper management and expected results
•Ability to make quick decisions in emergencies
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact in a positive manner
